There are many amateur satellites in orbit from 10M to 2400 MHz. The AMSAT web site list is daunting.
Below is a brief list of those you'll most often work.
These are all 70cm up and 2m down.
For five you'd use normal FM transceivers. Three have linear transponders for SSB and CW.
